5. Who should not take Immunocal? 

Patients who have the following medical conditions should NOT take Immunocal:

  • Patients who are on immunosuppressing medications, for example after organ transplant surgeries, because Immunocal does just the opposite – it strengthens your immune system.
  • People with a rare specific allergy to milk protein. This milk protein allergy is NOT lactose (milk sugar) intolerance. There is less than 1% lactose in Immunocal and it can be safely taken by lactose intolerant people.


Patients who should exercise caution when taking Immunocal:

  • Those who have kidney disease and are on protein restricted diets should take protein content in Immunocal into account and adjust their daily protein intake accordingly. There are 9g of protein in each 10g pouch of Immunocal.
